Varieties:
- Tellicherry Garbled Special Extra Bold (TGSEB): The highest grade of Indian pepper, known for its large size (4.75mm+) and complex, intense, citrusy flavor.
- Tellicherry Garbled Extra Bold (TGEB): A premium grade with a size of 4.25mm+, offering a strong and pleasant aroma.
- Malabar Garbled (MG-1/MG-2): A widely exported grade with a slightly smaller size (4-4.75mm), known for its balanced flavor and versatility.
Specifications (Export Grade):
- Moisture: 11% to 13% maximum.
- Light Berries: 2% to 4% maximum.
- Extraneous Matter: 0.5% to 1.5% maximum.
- Density: 575-600 gms/L minimum.
- Physical Form: Whole peppercorns, crushed, or fine ground powder.
